Lot of vintage 1930's Tootsie Toys cast metal miniature doll furniture. The Dowst Brothers of Chicago started making miniature doll furniture in the 1920's which became quite popular and was marketed as "Tootsietoy". Tootsietoy was named after a granddaughter. The furniture was made until 1937 with designs changing to reflect the style of the era. It was made of soft cast metal in 1/2" (1:24) scale.This 4+ piece set includes two crackle armchairs, a crackle footstool, and a crackle console table.All pieces are in fairly nice condition with some paint loss on all pieces.
